Arlene Turner-Crawford is a Chicago area artist who works in the mediums of painting, assemblage/collage, drawing, graphic design, and illustration. She holds a B.S. Ed and M.S. Ed degree in Art.
Arlene defines herself as a Visual Artist, Curator, Educator, Muralist, and Cultural Activist. Her work also explores the history of the African American people in this country in the struggle for freedom, civil rights, human dignity, and equality. Arlene is a member artist of Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. www.womanmade.org.
