Transfer Credits

You've already worked hard - and for that, we give you credit!

The transfer process can be a challenge to navigate, especially for students transitioning from a two-year program to a four-year program.  Millikin University has created resources to offer guidance for a successful transition to Millikin University.  Students who want to enter Millikin University from Lake Land College should use these resources to choose courses that will automatically transfer, pending successful completion with a C- or higher, or otherwise noted grade.  A maximum of 66 semester hours can be accepted.

Tabor School of Business Transfer Credit Guides

The Tabor School of Business offers nine different majors, each of which is open to transfer students.  Students may choose to major in Accounting, Business Management, Cyber Security, Digital Media Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Management Information Systems, or Organizational Leadership.   Students who major in Business Management can declare a concentration in Human Resources Management or Supply Chain & Logistics Management.

Transfer students need some prior preparation if they expect to graduate on time.  Ideally, students entering their junior year should have been awarded an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree and should have completed most of the core requirements for the desired major.  This page is a resource that offers guidance about appropriate preparation for a successful transition to Millikin University.  Students who enter Millikin University from Lake Land College can use this guide to choose courses that will automatically count toward the Tabor School of Business requirements pending successful completion with a C- or higher, or otherwise noted grade.
