MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY invites applications for a part-time, Adjunct Instructor of Music–Double Bass. Master’s degree required. Documented history of professional activity in performance (e.g. chamber music, solo, orchestral); evidence of successful teaching; and ability to attract and retain students is essential. Primary responsibilities include teaching applied lessons and weekly studio classes. Additional adjunct responsibilities (commensurate with abilities), performance opportunities with the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra, and teaching opportunities with the Millikin Community Arts Academy are possible as well. Position begins August 2022.
