MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor of Music–Composition. M.M. minimum required. Documented history of professional activity in composition (chamber, solo, orchestral, vocal) and evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level is essential. Primary teaching responsibilities include an introductory composition class, subsequent composition lessons, and organizing composer’s forum recitals, as needed. The successful candidate will participate in music theory area governance and recruitment.

Millikin University School of Music has been NASM accredited since 1934, with a vibrant community of 50 faculty and 163 students, offering Bachelor of Music degrees in Performance, Music Education, Commercial Music, and Music Business, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.
