The Investors Society

The Millikin University Investors Society was established to recognize our alumni and friends who have made commitments to Millikin’s future through their wills and other planned gifts, including trusts, annuities, other life-income arrangements, or family foundations.

Your gifts are an important source of support for Millikin. These gifts have supported the construction of buildings such as ADM-Scovill Hall, produced endowed scholarships to assist worthy students, and provided development opportunities for Millikin's distinguished faculty. These gifts also afford donors the opportunity to support causes important to them, and can serve as a wonderful way to memorialize someone special.

In addition to the knowledge that you have provided much-needed support to benefit Millikin's future excellence and growth, membership in the Investor's Society provides meaningful benefits, as well. Each year, members are invted to campus to enjoy a luncheon with the University President and hear a firsthand, exclusive update on campus, as well as plans for Millikin's future. With your permission, Millikin will publicly recognize your generosity on campus, as well.

We at Millikin take great pride in acknowledging and recognizing our donors. If you have included Millikin in your estate plans, please let us know so that we can express our gratitide and ensure that your gift is designated according to your wishes. Please be assured that any pertinent information of this nature received from our donors is kept in the strictest confidence.

If you are interested in making a planned gift to Millikin, or would like to learn more about our planned giving options, please contact the Alumni and Development Office at 1.877.JMU.ALUM (217.568.2586).
