Dear Millikin Students:

I'm writing to update you on recent changes regarding COVID-19 safety protocol at Millikin.

As you may be aware, the CDC recently announced changes to its guidance regarding mask requirements and issued a mask mandate. In turn, Millikin's requirements for mask-wearing are also changing.

Beginning Monday, August 2, any person on Millikin's campus — vaccinated or non-vaccinated — will be required to wear a mask while indoors. Masks will not be required outdoors.

Millikin will follow this new guidance until further notice.

URGENT: Upload Vaccination Records (and be entered to win AirPods)

Millikin continues to ask students to upload their COVID-19 vaccination records. It is urgent that Millikin receives vaccination uploads so that we plan appropriately. Without your participation, we struggle to know the rate of vaccination on campus and this further delays our ability to lift restrictions.

Please upload your vaccination records to my.millikin.edu ASAP to be entered to win AirPods! Uploads submitted by August 1 will be considered for the AirPods giveaway. Simply search for Upload Immunizations in the MyMillikin search bar. You may screenshot your vaccination card and upload the picture, or submit a .pdf of your card by uploading the file from your computer. You need only to upload the front of your card which displays your name and the date(s) of your vaccination(s).

On-Campus Vaccination Clinics

If you have not been fully vaccinated, you are encouraged to sign up for a vaccination appointment below. In partnership with the Macon County Health Department, Millikin will host vaccination clinics on campus in the University Commons on August 9, 17 and 26. All are invited to participate!

Get Vaccinated on August 9 (Pfizer, with second dose on August 30th)
Get Vaccinated on August 17 (Johnson & Johnson)
Get Vaccinated on August 26 (Johnson & Johnson)

Thank you for doing your part to get Millikin "Back to the Blue."

Sincerely,

Jim R
President
