Cap and Gown
(required for participation - all participants - undergraduate, Masters in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice)
The easiest way to order your cap and gown is at the Grad Fair, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in University Commons 304 on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. A table will be set up to order cap/gowns. If you are not able to attend the Grad Fair or if you have any questions, contact the Registrar's office at 217-424-6217. ONLINE ORDERING (HERFFJONES.COM) ENDS ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2019.
Senior Survey and Alumni Questionnaire
These online surveys are required and must be completed by the time you pick up your cap and gown, and tickets on December 3, 4, 5, 6, 2019, 9-12:00 and 1:00-4:30 p.m. in Shilling Hall 213 (Office of the Provost).
Graduating Senior Survey (for Undergraduates Only)
Please tell us about your educational experiences at Millikin via this 10-minute Graduating Senior Survey. It must be completed in a single session. Be assured that all responses will be kept strictly confidential. Your responses can help us make Millikin a better place for both current and future students. If you think you have already completed this survey, please check the List of Survey Completions. Questionnaire for Alumni Records (ALL Graduates)
All graduates (including MSN and DNP) should complete the Questionnaire for Alumni Records. The Questionnaire may be completed at the Graduate Fair. If you have any questions, email Cindy Landacre at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alumni and Development Office Update for all Alumni
Millikin Email Account
Millikin email accounts, along with myMillikin access, will remain active for one year after enrollment at the University has ceased. If you decide to re-enroll or continue your education at Millikin, your email will be re-activated. Please begin to transition to a new email account over the next year by taking the following action:
- Back up important emails, files and contacts.
- Update external sites in which your millikin.edu account is used as a log in/username/recovery email.
- Provide Millikin a new, preferred email address at email@example.com.
Pick up of Tickets/Caps and Gowns
FOR ALL STUDENTS
Cap, gown, and ticket pick up will be Tuesday, December 3, Wednesday, December 4, Thursday, December 5, and Friday, December 6, from 9:00-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-4:30 p.m. in the Office of the Provost and Commencement Coordinator, Shilling Hall 213. Once we check that your $75 graduation fee and Millikin account is paid in full (the $75 graduation fee is assessed to all students regardless of whether you participate in the ceremonies), and that your two surveys are completed (senior survey AND alumni questionnaire for all undergraduate students), you will receive your ten (10) tickets and a voucher to pick up your cap/gown at the Campus Bookstore (Oakland Ave.) Please try on your cap/gown when you are at the Bookstore!! Make sure you have the correct color of tassel as well! Your graduation fee of $75 and Millikin account must be paid in full by November 30, 2019. The online Alumni questionnaire (undergraduate, MSN and DNP students) and the Senior Survey (undergraduate students only) must be completed before you pick up your cap/gown/tickets. There are other surveys you will be asked to complete for other University departments, but, the surveys we ask be completed before cap and gown pick up days are the Senior Survey (undergraduate only), and the Alumni Questionnaire (all students - undergraduate, MSN and DNP). Additional tickets will possibly be available at rehearsal on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Kirkland Fine Arts Center.
Complete all requirements for your degree as listed in your catalog.

Settle all accounts with Student Financial Services, including $75 graduation fee by November 30, 2019.
Rehearsal for all undergraduate students is Wednesday, December 11, 2019. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ATTEND THIS REHEARSAL.
