9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:30 p.m.

Office of Provost and Bookstore

Cap/Gown/Ticket pick up will be December 3, 4, 5, 6, 2019.  Please come to the Office of the Provost, Shilling Hall 213 between 9-12 and 1-4:30 p.m. on either December 3, 4, 5, 6th.  Once we check that you have completed your Alumni Questionnaire (all students) and Senior Survey (undergraduates only), and paid your $75.00 graduation fee, we will give you your 10 tickets (all attendees at the ceremony must have a ticket, including children (infants and toddlers included).  You must complete the online senior survey (undergraduate only)) as well as the online alumni questionnaire (all graduating students - MSN, DNP, and undergraduate) in order to receive your 10 tickets and cap and gown  This is also where those who have earned honors cords will pick up their cords.  There will be an opportunity to receive extra tickets at the graduation rehearsal on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Kirkland Fine Arts Center.

Rehearsal for all students is Wednesday, December 11, 2019, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Kirkland Fine Arts Center.  Please make every effort to attend this rehearsal. It is important to understand how the ceremony works. Registrar Jason Wickline will be there to answer any questions you might have.

Graduation Brunch
University Commons Dining Room

A brunch will be held prior to the ceremony in the University Commons Dining Hall.  This brunch includes various luncheon selections,  eggs cooked to order, waffle bar, a deli bar, a produce market, dessert bar, and beverages. RSVPs must be received by Monday, December 9, 2019.   Email Corey Clabaugh, Director of Dining Services at cclabaugh@millikin.edu or Lynette Bilyeu at lbilyeu@millikin.edu for reservations, or call Corey or Lynette at 217-424-6323.  Any Millikin student (including graduates) may use remaining meal plan or flex for their meal, but please include them in your RSVP count. Payment is required at the time of the brunch and the cost is $8.50 per person plus sales tax ($9.73). We accept Flex, Cash, Checks, Credit (Visa and MC only) and debit cards. Checks should be made out to Millikin Dining Service.

Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduate, MSN and DNP students,  Kirkland Fine Arts Center

Graduating students should arrive by 1:15 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for ticketed guests. ALL guests must have a ticket, including children and babies. We ask that you not bring balloons, air horns, beach balls and other disruptive devices into Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Please remember this is a formal occasion, and disturbances make it difficult for others to hear and enjoy. We anticipate behavior appropriate for a solemn, yet celebratory occasion. Seats available on a first-come basis. You will not be permitted into Kirkland Fine Arts Center auditorium without a ticket! Each student will receive ten (10) tickets.
