Millikin University has received a generous gift of $100,000 from Dr. Paul and Shirley Stanley to support Millikin's new Center for Theatre & Dance. In addition to the $100,000 contribution, the Stanleys also made a $50,000 contribution toward the project during Millikin's "Transform MU" capital campaign.

Four years ago, Trey DeLuna was auditioning for various college theatre programs but wasn't landing the opportunities that he was hoping for. He applied and auditioned at Millikin University knowing Millikin is home to one of the best musical theatre programs in the country. As it turned out, DeLuna wanted Millikin, and Millikin wanted him right back.

2019-20 performance season continues with Broadway's longest-running American musical

Millikin University's School of Theatre and Dance is continuing its 2019-20 performance season with Broadway's longest-running American musical, "Chicago." The show will run Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin's campus.
