2019-20 performance season continues with Broadway's longest-running American musical

Millikin University's School of Theatre and Dance is continuing its 2019-20 performance season with Broadway's longest-running American musical, "Chicago." The show will run Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin's campus.

Inside, Outside and In-Between: A newly created play for children

Millikin University's School of Theatre & Dance is introducing a season of special performances throughout the 2019-20 academic year that are designed with a difference. These are works that are "in progress," intended for special audiences or otherwise unconventional in their style of production. The season of special performances is titled the Studio Series.

MU theatre production puts focus on mental health

Millikin University's School of Theatre and Dance will open its 2019-20 performance season with the production of "Medea" on Thursday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held at Albert Taylor Theatre in Shilling Hall on Millikin's campus.

Millikin University graduate Joel Kim Booster '10 has become one of the hottest entertainers and stand-up comedians in Hollywood today. A Chicago-bred, Los Angeles-based comedian and writer, Booster has appeared on Conan, Comedy Central's "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail," This Is Not Happening and @midnight, Logo's "Comedy Cabaret" and truTV's "Comedy Knockout."
