Dress to Impress event helps students prepare for job interviews

In preparation for entering the job market after graduation, Millikin University students have a lot to consider. From practicing their interview skills to perfecting their resumes, the process can be intimidating. When it comes to professional interviews, however, often the most important part of a candidate's first impression is the area they are least prepared: clothing.

Honors Scholar becomes first Millikin semifinalist for Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program

Angela Arnold, a senior international business major with minors in music and French, has been named a semifinalist for both the U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program to Kyrgyzstan and the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Turkish Program through the U.S. Department of State.

To keep up with the increasing demand of the data industry, Millikin University's Daytime Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program recently launched a new concentration in Data Analytics & Business Intelligence. The three-course sequence includes courses in Data Mining, Data Visualization, and Business Forecasting and is embedded in the 12-month MBA curriculum.

Millikin launches accelerated path for combined Arts Administration and MBA degrees

Millikin University has announced an opportunity for undergraduates to accelerate their careers in arts management through a new accelerated Arts Administration/Master of Business Administration (MBA) 3+1 dual degree program. Millikin will begin enrolling students in the program in the fall 2022 semester.

Lockharts take on Millikin together

When Brandon and Megan Lockhart decided to go back to school together and pursue their undergraduate degrees at Millikin University, it was with a wealth of experience and foundation of success already under their belts. The husband and wife pair are the founders and previous owners of Lockhart’s Barber Shop and Lockhart’s Barber College, both successful businesses in Central Illinois, as well as owners of more than 100 rental units.
