Washington Monthly names Millikin a Best Bang for the Buck Midwest university

Millikin University has been recognized by Washington Monthly in its 2021 College Guide and Rankings, released on Aug. 30, as being a top Bachelor's College and a Best Bang for the Buck Midwest university.

Millikin recognized for Value, Social Mobility and Undergraduate Nursing

U.S. News & World Report has recognized Millikin University as a leading institution in higher education in its 2022 "Best Colleges" guidebook, released on Sept. 13, 2021. Millikin is ranked No. 12 in the Best Regional Colleges in the Midwest category, making Millikin the highest ranked college in Illinois on this list.

Podeschi to begin appointment as Interim Dean of Tabor School of Business

Millikin University has appointed RJ Podeschi, associate professor of information systems and chair of the Tabor School of Business Undergraduate Programs, as interim dean of the Tabor School of Business, effective immediately.

Collection of books and materials centered on Millikin Long-Vanderburg Scholars Program

Millikin University's Provost of seven years, Dr. Jeffery Aper, retired in June of 2021, but not without leaving the University with a resource that will be used for years to come. Upon Dr. Aper's retirement, a library collection of titles centered around the theme of equity and justice will be created, aptly named the Dr. Jeffery Aper Equity & Justice Library Collection.

Millikin Actuarial Science program becomes sixth program in Illinois to receive UCAP-AC recognition

The Millikin University Actuarial Science program in the Department of Mathematics and Computational Sciences has been recognized by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) as an Advanced Curriculum Program earning the level of UCAP-AC. Millikin's Actuarial Science program becomes the sixth program in Illinois to receive UCAP-AC recognition.
