Millikin sees four percent increase in first-year students from fall 2018
On Monday, Aug. 26, Millikin University started the first day of the 2019-20 academic year with its largest first-year class in seven years. Millikin welcomed 490 first-year students to campus to begin the fall 2019 semester, a four percent increase in first-year students from fall 2018 when it enrolled 468 first-year students.
The 490 first-year class is the largest since 2012.

The Washington Monthly named Millikin University to its annual "Best Bang for the Buck - Midwest" list as part of its 2017 College Guide and Rankings. Washington Monthly ranked Millikin University No. 24 of 364 colleges and universities in the Midwest.
Millikin recognized by Wall Street Journal, Times Higher Education in new ranking
Millikin University has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education (THE) in a new ranking of U.S. colleges and universities released on Sept. 27. Millikin is ranked No. 392 out of 1061 institutions internationally, and No. 97 out of 275 nationally.
U.S. News & World Report names Millikin among "Best Regional Universities in the Midwest"
Millikin University was recognized once again by U.S. News & World Report as one of the leading institutions in the country.
