The 18th annual WSOY Community Food Drive was held in Decatur, Ill., on Oct. 4, and Millikin University was once again among the many contributors who helped the Decatur community surpass its goal by raising 1.69 million pounds of food.

Pi Beta Phi is a Women's Fraternity built on the model of servant leadership. Millikin University's chapter of Pi Beta Phi is a unique group of students who are musicians, teachers, writers, performers, entrepreneurs, athletes and mentors who focus their efforts on philanthropy and volunteer service.

Passion for helping others drives Millikin nursing major
Nick Cravatta is a second semester junior nursing major at Millikin University. The Sullivan, Ill., native went to Lakeland Community College for the first two years of his college career and then searched for a four-year school to transfer to.
Though Cravatta applied to multiple colleges, once he visited Millikin's campus he knew that the Big Blue community was the place for him.
