Millikin to hold virtual celebration in May

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and in the interest of Millikin University students and their family's health and safety, Millikin will be canceling its traditional Commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 2020.

Millikin is planning a virtual celebration of its graduates to be held in May, a celebration in which the University will honor all graduates and their extraordinary achievements at Millikin.

In this difficult time, faculty, staff and administrators are working hard to ensure that no essential campus services are unavailable to our students. Nathan Marshall '20 leaves lasting impact

With the COVID-19 crisis bringing an early end to the careers of Millikin student-athletes, the Millikin Sports Information staff is using this opportunity to highlight several Big Blue seniors. While you will not find his name in any boxes scores, senior athletic training major Nathan Marshall of Oreana, Ill., has definitely left his mark on Millikin athletics.

Twin brother and sister Korbin and Kalli Farmer never intended to go to college together. The two had gone to school together their entire lives while growing up in Columbia, Ill.; they had the same class schedule and even the same group of friends.

Millikin academic departments donate supplies to Decatur-area hospitals

In light of the shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Millikin University Chemistry and Biology Departments as well as the School of Nursing donated supplies to HSHS St. Mary's Hospital and Decatur Memorial Hospital (DMH) in Decatur, Ill., on Wednesday, March 25.
