Economic Opportunity

Millikin University's Institute for Science Entrepreneurship, a signature program of Millikin's Center for Entrepreneurship, will continue its 2015-16 Speaker Series on Thursday, Feb. 4, with keynote speaker Jim Schultz, director of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity.

The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Lower Richards Treat University Center on Millikin's campus; the event is free and open to the public.

Tomorrow's Leaders

The Collegiate DECA Leadership Academy is an annual conference that provides opportunities for students to gain valuable experiences in teamwork and leadership skills. Millikin students and DECA Executive Committee members Dejaujhn Thompson, a junior accounting major from Chicago, and Valina Hoang, a junior marketing major from Chicago, were among the attendees at the November conference in New York.
