To help future educators prepare for the process, Millikin University's School of Education held its 5th annual Interview Boot Camp for students on Feb. 28.

More than 20 Millikin graduates, who are now school administrators from across Illinois, came back to campus on Feb. 28 to donate their day and interview over 30 Millikin seniors as part of the School of Education's 5th annual Interview Boot Camp. The alumni helped the students prepare for what to expect in actual interviews.

Paving the Way

Millikin University honored the graduating Class of 2016 during Spring Commencement on May 22. Among the graduates was Krista Scott who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Actuarial Science from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Alternative Spring Break

Some Millikin University students spent their spring break volunteering for service projects throughout the Decatur community. The projects were part of Millikin's Alternative Spring Break, organized through Millikin's Career Center and AmeriCorps VISTA.

Millikin students spent the day on Tuesday, March 22, working on the Dennis-Millikin Community Garden to help clean up the prairie grass ecosystem.
