"The large dance studio is a showpiece of the new building"

Millikin University's new Center for Theatre & Dance will be opening in fall 2020, and as that target date grows closer, the unique aspects of the venue are taking shape on Millikin's campus.

Millikin graduate to pursue advanced degree in lighting design

The world has been turned upside down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, faculty and staff at Millikin University have brought classes to online and distant learning modes, students have adapted and continued learning in new ways, all working to keep Millikin's Performance Learning mission going.

The tragic and unjust death of George Floyd and other recent injustices in the black community are a piercing reminder of the deep racial divide in our country. As an institution of higher learning committed to inclusion and social justice, Millikin University encourages us all to examine our country, our community and ourselves, and learn from these horrific tragedies.
