Millikin's University Center Board earns regional honors

MU Wind Ensemble, University Men's Choir collaborate for fall performance

Two of the major performing ensembles at Millikin University will combine forces in a unique performance, free and open to the public, on Thursday, Nov. 19, in Kirkland Fine Arts Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Millikin University officially broke ground on its new University Commons during a ceremony held on Nov. 6 outside Staley Library. Construction on the 87,000-square-foot facility is expected to be in full swing by early 2016 and completed prior to the start of the fall 2017 semester.

Millikin University mourns the death of President

Millikin University President Emeritus Dr. J. Roger Miller, who served Millikin University as president from 1971 to 1991, passed away on Oct. 14 at the age of 88. Dr. Miller was the longest serving president in Millikin's history.
