Alternative Spring Break

Some Millikin University students spent their spring break volunteering for service projects throughout the Decatur community. The projects were part of Millikin's Alternative Spring Break, organized through Millikin's Career Center and AmeriCorps VISTA.

Millikin students spent the day on Tuesday, March 22, working on the Dennis-Millikin Community Garden to help clean up the prairie grass ecosystem.

Building the Best Imagination of Millikin

There are many opportunities for students at Millikin University to develop leadership skills both in and outside the classroom. Millikin faculty members explored how leadership can build the best imagination of Millikin during the institution's annual Interdisciplinary Faculty Conference (MIFC) on March 4. Faculty also discussed the best leadership practices across campus in teaching, scholarship and service.
