Millikin University will celebrate its Spring Commencement with two ceremonies on the weekend of May 21-22, 2016.
Millikin University will celebrate the scholastic and artistic achievements of students throughout the campus community during its 2016 Celebrations of Scholarship (COS) beginning Thursday, April 28, at 7 p.m. with Honors Convocation in Kirkland Fine Arts Center.
Information systems (IS) students from Millikin University's Tabor School of Business received four awards at the 5th Annual Information Systems Project and Case Competition. The 2016 competition was hosted April 15-17 by the Miller College of Business at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.
The Millikin University Board of Trustees has extended the contract of President Dr. Patrick E. White through June 30, 2020.
Some Millikin University students spent their spring break volunteering for service projects throughout the Decatur community. The projects were part of Millikin's Alternative Spring Break, organized through Millikin's Career Center and AmeriCorps VISTA.
Millikin students spent the day on Tuesday, March 22, working on the Dennis-Millikin Community Garden to help clean up the prairie grass ecosystem.
Millikin University's partnership with Dennis Lab School is thriving this academic year with several project-based learning opportunities for Dennis students as well as increased collaborative learning opportunities for Millikin undergraduates.
