Millikin graduates to be honored at Winter Commencement

Millikin University will recognize over 170 graduates during its 2016 Winter Commencement ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. in Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Graduates from Millikin's traditional undergraduate, Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs will be honored during the ceremony.

International Teamwork

Students from Millikin University's Tabor School of Business spent their Thanksgiving break traveling to Denmark to compete in an innovation competition titled "Experts in Teams," hosted by the Business Academy Aarhus Nov. 23-25. The competition teaches students interdisciplinary cooperation skills.

Millikin Chili Bowl Fundraiser supports Good Samaritan Inn

Millikin University's annual "Empty Chili Bowl" fundraiser has grown into a popular holiday event around campus and the local community. Ceramics students in Millikin University's Art Department made over 180 chili bowls for this year's event and sold them for $10 each with sales benefiting the programs of the Good Samaritan Inn of Decatur, Ill.

Victory sends Big Blue Volleyball to NCAA Tournament

The Millikin volleyball team defeated Elmhurst College 3-0 in the Championship Match of the 2016 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament on Nov. 5 in Decatur, Ill. The victory earned the Big Blue the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
