The Millikin University Board of Trustees has unanimously confirmed the election of Dr. James M. Reynolds to become the 16th president of Millikin University, effective July 1, 2020. Reynolds succeeds Dr. Patrick E. White, who is retiring June 30 after seven years as Millikin University's president.
Millikin University was named one of the nation's Best Colleges for Financial Aid by LendEDU, an online platform that helps consumers learn about and compare financial products, including student loans. Millikin was listed No. 25 in the nation and first in Illinois.

Dedication, hard work and natural talent; that's what Millikin University sophomore Claire Eppley would say makes a great graphic designer. Eppley has all of those attributes, but she needed to develop the necessary skills to become successful in her future career field.
One is studying biology, the other is studying business management. One is president of the Latin American Student Organization, the other is a linebacker on the football team. One is a Long-Vanderburg Scholar, and the other is a Presidential Scholar.
Millikin University will recognize over 120 graduates at its 2019 Winter Commencement ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin's campus.
Graduates from Millikin's traditional undergraduate, Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree programs will be honored during the ceremony.
