First 2017 Admission Delivered

Every one of our students has a story. For Allie Gray of Mt. Zion High School, who expressed such passion in wanting to attend Millikin University, President Pat White was thrilled to deliver news of her admission to the Class of 2021 and the School of Nursing in-person. Tabor student recognized for leadership, passion for marketing

Millikin University student Jocelyn Hernandez, a senior marketing major with a minor in finance from Des Plaines, Ill., was recognized by the Tabor School of Business for demonstrating leadership and a passion for marketing as she was presented with The Rick Bibb Scholarship on Sept. 19.

Valina Hoang, a senior marketing major at Millikin University, is a member of Millikin's Collegiate DECA Executive Committee as well as a member of University Center Board (UCB) and Student Senate.

Millikin's Collegiate DECA is the student chapter of the professional organization Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) and the only Collegiate DECA chapter in Illinois, providing opportunities for competition, networking and leadership development.

Before classes started on Aug. 22, first-year students at Millikin University became acclimated to campus through First Week activities. Students moved into residence halls, learned the necessary skills for collegiate success and engaged in community service through Day of Action.
