Supporting Student IT Needs

Technology is constantly evolving and the Information Technology department at Millikin University strives to provide the technology and support to help students achieve academic success. To get started, view the Student Technology Training Guide. Regularly scheduled maintenance occurs daily between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, and some services may be unavailable at that time.

Help Desk Hours

The Help Desk is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM when the University is open.

Technology issues and questions when the Help Desk isn't open?

We have created a FAQs page filled with information to help you with your basic hardware and software questions and answers.

For an issue that can be handled during regular work hours, please send an email or call with details of the issue, location and contact information. E-mail and voicemail are checked first thing in the morning and will be responded to promptly.

For emergency issues or wide-spread issues, please contact Public Safety at 217.464.8888 and they will contact the appropriate person to assist you.
