Millikin alumni return to campus to perform on the Kirkland stage along with the Millikin Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Join fellow alumni during Homecoming weekend 2018 for this annual performance of the Millikin Alumni Band.

Colors for Trombone and Wind Ensemble by Bert Apermont - Millikin Symphonic Wind Ensemble with trombonist Peter Steiner

At the age of 23, Peter Steiner was appointed trombonist with the Vienna State Opera and Vienna Philharmonic. Peter Steiner is recognized across the world as “a new trombone star within his generation”.  His performances with some of the world’s most prestigious ensembles and solo recitals across the globe have helped form him into the outstanding artist that he is today.

Each year we invite an outstanding high school band to share the stage with the Millikin Symphonic Wind Ensemble. This performance features the Morris (Illinois) Community Symphonic Winds, conducted by Millikin graduate Brock Feece ’15.
