Matt played on the Men's soccer team and went to U of I and completed his MSW in December 2008.
Matt took his first therapy position at Indian Oaks Academy (IOA) in Manteno, IL as a Sexuality Therapist for juvenile sex offenders who resided in a DCFS licensed residential facility. Matt and his wife lived in Paxton, IL, both commuting to their jobs. They were married during their time in Paxton in October 2010.
In January 2012, they ventured back to the Chicagoland area to our current home in Lockport, IL.
Matt remained at IOA, shifting positions from individual therapist to family therapist. His daughter, Julia, was born in January 2013 and really changed the way he and his wife both worked with children and families.
Matt passed his LCSW exam in January 2014. Matt spent some time contracting with DCFS and their Integrated Assessment Program and as well as community mental health.
His second daughter, Margot, was born in November 2015, and Matt began employment with his current job as a medical social worker at Loretto Hospital in Chicago in December 2015.
This past December (2017) Matt was promoted at the hospital and now assists in overseeing teams of case managers, socials workers and nurse case managers in various programs of the hospital.
