Aric WarsawMemorial for Aric Warsaw ’04

Aric W. Warsaw, 36, passed away peacefully at home in Rincon, GA on Thursday, June 28, 2018 after his two-year courageous battle with Synovial Cell Sarcoma. A visitation will be held at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel 4-6 pm Sunday, July 1, 2018. Burial will be at a later date.

He was born on March 23, 1982 in Normal, IL the son of Aaron and Rebecca (Kuhl) Warsaw. They survive.

Other survivors include one sister, Ashley (Derek) Fiorvanti; special nephew and buddy, Nash Fiorvanti; cousin, Steve Freitag, N. Aurora, IL; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and best friends, Dr. Lindsay Delaney, Bluffton, SC, and Chris Stuckey, Pooler, GA.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Aric was a 2000 graduate of Ridgeview High School and a 2004 graduate of Millikin University, Decatur, IL where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in computer science. While there, he was a member of Alpha Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and the Millikin men's golf team. In 2007, he received his Master of Science Degree in computer science from Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah, where he also worked as a graduate assistant. Aric was employed as a Network Engineer for St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital, The Coastal Bank System, and finally, Gulfstream Aerospace.

He enjoyed golf, especially The Master's Tournament, billiards, amateur radio, mechanical time pieces, and the complexities of Open BSD and Linux software.

We will miss his smile, humor, quiet demeanor, his expertise for perfection, and his love for family and friends.
