Clifford D. Custin, who lived in Murfreesboro from 1959-69 passed away peacefully after a brief illness early on Sunday, July 16, surrounded by his loving family. He retired from State Farm in 1988 and him and his late wife, LaVonne, who passed away in 2014, divided their time between Texas and Missouri. After LaVonne's passing, Cliff resided full time in Columbia, Missouri. 

Mr. Custin proudly served his country for 6 years where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. He graduated from Millikin University with a B.S. in secondary education and political science. Cliff spent 37 years with State Farm, retiring as Deputy Regional Vice President of the Missouri-Kansas region. 

He is proudly survived by three kids, all of whom work for State Farm: Steve (Connie), Alpharetta, GA, Joe (Heidi) Grandview, MO, and Debbie Custin, Normal, IL; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one brother; Don (Bernie) Custin of Decatur, IL. 

Final services were held July 29 in Columbia, MO.
