Back to Class Lecture

Back to Class Faculty Lecture Series

February 12, 2020, 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Are you ready to head Back to Class?

The Millikin Alumni Association and Office of the Provost are proud to offer Back to Class, a free lecture series featuring Millikin faculty discussing interesting and timely topics. Designed to engage both MU alumni and the Decatur community, these presentations promise to deliver informative, fun and lively conversation.

Can a video game tell a story worth studying? Can a mobile app or interactive film explore themes worth contemplating and debating? Join us for our third presentation of the 2019-20 year as Dr. Tony Magagna, associate professor of English, discusses how these narratives weave stories and deliver themes in ways more immersive and profound than previously possible in traditional print culture.

Wednesday, Feb. 12, Noon-1 p.m.
Oberhelman Center for Leadership Performance, University Commons
No RSVP required. An $8 buffet lunch is available in the University Commons Student Dining, or feel free to bring your own. We encourage those purchasing their lunch in Student Dining to arrive by 11:30 a.m.

Not able to make it back to campus? No problem! Join us virtually.

Questions? Contact the Alumni & Development Office at alumnews@millikin.edu or 217.424.6383. See you in class!
