You've already worked hard - and for that, we give you credit!
Millikin holds articulation agreements with many community colleges. These agreements spell out which courses students must take in each program and help to ensure a smooth transition into the corresponding Millikin program. Be sure to ask your guidance counselor or Millikin admission counselor for more information.
Generally, credit will be given for all college-level study comparable to courses offered at Millikin in which a grade of C- or better was received. For community college students, a maximum of 66 semester hours is accepted. There is no limit on the number of hours accepted from other four-year colleges or universities.
The transfer of credits course equivalency documents are intended to be guidelines and are subject to change. All course work must be officially approved by Millikin University to be considered part of the academic history of a student.
Millikin recognizes the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide agreement, which allows transfer of completed Illinois General Education Core courses between participating institutions. This agreement is in effect for students entering an associate or baccalaureate degree-granting institution as first-time freshmen in the summer of 1998 or thereafter.
