PACE Success Stories
1. How did you hear about PACE, and what made you decide to take part in the program? There were several colleagues of mine who went through the program prior to me signing up, and it was highly recommended by each individual. I wanted a program that would allow me to continue my education so I could further my career. I made the decision to move forward with PACE as I wanted a program that would fit into my schedule – not the other way around. PACE offered a way for me to continue to work full-time and further my education while doing so. 2. How did PACE make it possible to fit a degree into your lifestyle and schedule?

Great Scot! What a Festival!
By Katie Liesener ’03 | Published in summer 2015 issue of Millikin Quarterly magazine. Over a weekend each June, a field in Itasca, Ill., transforms into a curious tent city. Bagpipers bray at the entrance. Children, clacking wooden swords, run among the legs of kilted Scots in crisp Glengarry hats whose faces glow red from whiskey tastings. Now and again, the Scots raise a cheer: “For rugby scores! For hay bales heaved skyward! For the knobbliest knees sashayed across a stage!”
