Jim grew up in Central Illinois and moved to Decatur in 1978 after graduating from Millikin with a B.S. in Accounting. He worked for five years as a certified public accountant with a local CPA firm and joined the investment firm of E.F. Hutton in 1983 as a financial consultant. Jim was a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the Decatur office of Morgan Stanley. In May 2006, he joined the Brechnitz Group of Raymond James & Associates, Inc., as a Senior Vice President.

Robert (Bob) Smith is a graduate of Millikin University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, and received his MBA in Finance from Michigan State University. He also graduated with honors from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Career Field Supply Chain & Logistics
Gary Hendrickson is Senior Solutions Manager for Caterpillar's Global Supply Network Division. He is based in San Antonio, Texas, and leads global teams in supply chain transformation, new business development, new logistic center design and implementation, and IT development/enhancements, all driving positive OPACC (Operational Profit After Capital Charges) for Caterpillar.
The late R. Michael Campbell ’67 and M. Susan Campbell ’68 are co-recipients of the 2016 Alumnus of the Year award, the highest alumni award presented by the university.
David Roth enrolled at Millikin University in 1958. After joining the Air Force Reserve program in June 1960, he returned to Millikin in 1961 and graduated two years later. While at Millikin, David was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and majored in Accounting. Upon graduation, he became an employees of the Treasury Department as an IRS agent.
David began a career in self-employment in 1965 building and operating car washes, convenience stores, laundries and restaurants. He also developed residential and commercial property in Illinois, Missouri, Arizona and Washington.
Ed LeFevre graduated from Millikin University in 1957 with a B.S. in Accounting. Ed is from New Jersery and came to Millikin because of the outstanding reputation of its accounting program. Upon graduation Ed joined Gauger and Diehl in Peoria, IL. He obtained his CPA in 1960 and became a partner in 1969. Shortly thereafter, Gauger and Diehl merged with KPMG. Ed took early retirement in 1985 and joined Lutheran Brotherhood, a financial institution. He obtained his CFP and was with them until 2005. Lutheran Brotherhood merged with Aid Association for Lutherans and became Thrivent Financial prior to his retirement.
