Corey Jefferson ’02 of Lewisville, Texas, was a four-year letterwinner and award-winning sprinter for the Big Blue track and field team. Named the team’s MVP in 2002, Jefferson holds several Millikin records and was a member of the 2002 400-meter relay team that set the outdoor record (41.45) that still stands today.

Bob is a member of BKD National Financial Services Group and provides a full range of assurance and consulting services to banks, thrifts and credit unions. He also provides audit and consulting services to employee benefit plans.
Bob has more than 18 years of experience serving these entities. His experience includes external audit, internal audit, strategic modeling, mergers and acquisitions and capital planning. He also has experience in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

When friends survey Chris Phillips’ extensive collection of retro toys and comic books, he loves watching their smiles as they find a toy they once had as a child. And as vice president of marketing for Decatur’s Land of Lincoln Credit Union, he also appreciates how their reactions reflect the expertise that went into marketing those toys.

Sheri Timmons Reck ’91 was an award-winning member of the Big Blue softball team, and a force to be reckoned with on the pitcher’s mound. In 1991, she pitched the first perfect game in Big Blue history. Three of the four years Reck was on the mound, the softball team qualified for post-season play, holding season records of 34-8 (1988), 28-10 (1989) and 32-6 (1990), and qualifying for the 1988 and 1990 NCAA tournaments, as well as winning two conference championships.
Mike is a 1987 graduate of Millikin University, having received a B.A. in Economics. He promptly put this education to good use, joining Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago that same year. During his career in advertising, Mike has worked with some of the world's most powerful and enduring brands, including Allstate Insurance, American Express, Coca-Cola, Marlboro and General Motors.

A 1983 Millikin graduate with a B.S. in Marketing, Sheri Eichelberger retired in 2018 from AT&T, where she led their Enterprise Solutions organization, a team of sales professionals responsible for addressing the full spectrum of IP-based and mobility communication networking requirements for AT&T's largest multinational accounts. Responsible for a $3B revenue stream, she led her team to focus on developing innovative applications utilizing transport to managed networking services, fully integrated outsourced solutions, and a full spectrum of wireless communications.

Why did you choose MU?
The confluence of a few key factors led me to Millikin, including an interest in small schools, proximity to home and growing up listening to my father, George Dixon ’40, tell Millikin stories.
What activities did you participate in as a student at MU?
Jim grew up in Central Illinois and moved to Decatur in 1978 after graduating from Millikin with a B.S. in Accounting. He worked for five years as a certified public accountant with a local CPA firm and joined the investment firm of E.F. Hutton in 1983 as a financial consultant. Jim was a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the Decatur office of Morgan Stanley. In May 2006, he joined the Brechnitz Group of Raymond James & Associates, Inc., as a Senior Vice President.
