Greek Life

The Greek Community at Millikin University currently consists of ten Greek organizations, 5 men's fraternities and 5 women's sororities. Millikin's Greek Community is dedicated to many things, but most of all, we strive to help others reach their greatest potential and to improve the community, working to develop better men and better women. Each chapter offers opportunities for college age men and women to involve themselves and grow through leadership and service experiences, and social and service opportunities. Because of the focus on the core values of scholarship, service, leadership, and brotherhood/sisterhood, Millikin's Greek Community provides students with many opportunities to be involved in organizations throughout campus and in Decatur.

The Greek Community also provides a number of benefits to its members. The opportunities to lead and to serve the Millikin and Decatur community are very important. The Greek organizations also stress scholarship and involvement in the chapter and on campus. Millikin's Greek Community also offers social benefits in the forms of exchanges, dances, and formals. Probably the most important benefit of the Greek Community is the bonds of friendship and brotherhood or sisterhood that is shared between members of the chapters and in the Greek Community. These bonds, once created in college, form friendships that will last a lifetime.
