Clickers FAQ
Clickers

What are clickers?

Clicker technology, commonly referred to as a student response system, provides students with active learning opportunities. Working within Microsoft PowerPoint, you pose a question, poll the students, and get instant feedback. Clickers are useful for examining students' prior knowledge on a topic, reviewing content, or helping to serve as a gateway to in-depth classroom discussion.

How do I request clickers?

To request clickers for your class, contact Staley Libraryrefdesk@millikin.edu or call 424-6214 and ask to speak with a librarian. Please request clickers one week in advance. The educational technology coordinator provides training to instructors and offers to demonstrate them in classes, if needed. The clickers can accommodate a group of up to 80 individuals.
