Yvonne Lewis was a full-time teacher for twenty-five years. She subbed after early retirement at Niantic-Harristown in the elementary and junior high schools. She has also been an adjunct professor at Millikin since 1997. She has supervised student teachers and has taught classes. She has always had a love and a passion for teaching.
