Hannah Poorman (Commercial Music Class of 2017) is a founding member of a new kind of music DJ experience called Off The Cuff that combines traditional DJing with live music improvisation. Previous to Off The Cuff, Hannah has been working steadily on the Chicago DJ scene providing services for all manner of clientele. From the website:
Off The Cuff is a fully immersive live experience where the relationship between DJ and live musicians comes together seamlessly to create a unique sound never heard before. While the DJ curates the music, musicians merge within the track with improv to produce a live experience. Off The Cuff includes a DJ, vocalist, drums, keys, and sax creating a five-piece ensemble tailored to fit any event.
