than an internship program. It promises to
take you to the best theatre, spoken word and live music and get
you connected with leaders, activists and artists making a difference.

and faculty hope to create unforgettable
learning experiences that fully explore the city’s resources.
The student may enroll in SO 340 - Field Study in Chicago, SO
350 - Chicago Communities/Culture, or SO
355 – Chicago Internship/
Practicum. Prerequisites include acceptance into Chicago Center.
Programs are available for fall, spring and summer terms.
Please note, the Off-campus Learning requirement of the University Studies curriculum is applicable only to students who declared their major in the Fall of 2007 or prior. However, an off-campus requirement (internship, supervised teaching, etc.) may still be mandated by the major. See the graduation requirements of your major for more details.
