SUBJECT: EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH- May 2009
It is a pleasure to accept the recommendation of the Employee Recognition Committee that Tim Mulvaney be honored as Employee of the Month for May 2009.
The Employee Recognition Committee received very compelling support for Tim’s nomination, including the following comments:
“Tim makes sure that the IT Department's customer service is top notch. He goes out of his way to check back with anyone having problems, works as long as it takes to solve technology issues and does it with a professional and calming attitude. He handles a crisis, like our virus outbreak, with a determined attitude that conveys confidence to our users that he will fix their technology problems!”
“Recently, a massive virus hit the network.” Tim has “worked long, hard hours checking on every single infected computer personally, fixing them, and in the worst case scenarios, remastering them.”
“Tim has never gone through such a stressful time as the virus attack that started just before the Easter weekend. As we developed a plan of attack, Tim worked hard to get computers fixed and back on desks as quickly as possible. He worked diligently even as the virus mutated and had to be cleaned with other methods. He worked extra hours, was extremely stressed from the overwhelming amount of work, and still maintained his professionalism. He is still working on the problems on machines and his confidence has grown from this episode. IT held update meetings through this and Tim was able to make suggestions on how to get more done. Sometimes his priorities were changed but they still attacked the situation with their humor intact!!”
Please join us in congratulating Tim on being honored as your May 2009 Employee of the Month!
