SUBJECT: EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH- April 2009
It is a pleasure to accept the recommendation of the Employee Recognition Committee that Travis Rauschek be honored as Employee of the Month for April 2009.
The Employee Recognition Committee received very compelling support for Travis’s nomination, including the following comments:
“Travis has never gone through such a stressful time as the virus attack that started just before the Easter weekend. As we developed a plan of attack, Travis worked hard to get computers fixed and back on desks as quickly as possible. He worked diligently even as the virus mutated and had to be cleaned with other methods. He worked extra hours, was extremely stressed from the overwhelming amount of work, and still maintained his professionalism. He is still working on the problems on machines and his confidence has grown from this episode. IT held update meetings through this and Travis was able to make suggestions on how to get more done. Sometimes his priorities were changed but they still attacked the situation with their humor intact!!”
“Recently, a massive virus hit the network.” Travis has “worked long, hard hours checking on every single infected computer personally, fixing them, and in the worst case scenarios, remastering them.”
“Travis goes to great lengths to make sure the IT Department's users are satisfied. He follows through and does whatever it takes to find a solution to their technology problems. He has a great sense of humor and can take a very tense situation and find a way to diffuse people's frustrations. He may use humor to calm everyone's nerves but, at the same time, he is very serious about making sure they have the technology they need to be successful!”
Please join us in congratulating Travis on being honored as your April 2009 Employee of the Month!
