“Design Thinking for Product and Business Model Innovation”
At its root this talk and mini-‐workshop is about innovation. But not the fluffy feel-good-Post‐It‐Notes‐on‐the-
‐wall-just‐for‐the‐sake‐of‐it kind of innovation to which people often pay lip service or about which they make ads. It’s about the real deal: the imaginatively-driven, transdisciplinary, hard core, yet practically-relevant mindsets and tools youthful people require in order to take on and change the world. The kind that leads to
happier lives for them as individuals, no matter what field they might work in, and, in turn over time, to increased productivity for our cities, states and country. It’s not only about commercializing a technology or making money (stereotypes often associated with innovation). It’s about designing really big value ideas - the kind that can’t help but make significant change in the world around us because they are at the same time highly impactful, highly feasible and incredibly personally meaningful. Come and check it out.
