Blue Connection

Opened in 2003, Blue ConnectionBlue Connection is Millikin University’s retail art gallery located in the Madden Arts Center in Downtown Decatur. Focused on arts and specialty businesses, the retail location is used by students in Millikin's Arts and Entrepreneurship Program to grow their businesses. Carriage House Press

Carriage HouseCarriage House Press is Decatur's only fine art printmaking studio, and is available for rental by interested artists. Our facilities allow printmaking students the opportunity to work alongside visiting artists in a professional printmaking studio. Students also have the opportunity to assist in all aspects of the studio including conducting printmaking workshops, working on special projects and scheduling various events. The Millikin Art Club

 

 Millikin Art ClubThe Millikin Art Club was created for and by students who desired a place outside of the classroom to discuss, experience, and develop their interests in the arts. Any student interested in art is encouraged to attend meetings and planned excursions since the organization is not relegated to art majors. The Art Club invites and desires students from all disciplines, especially freshmen who are looking to expand their creative outlook and make new friends at the same time. High School Art Show

High School Art Show

The Annual A.C.E High School Art Show is co-sponsored by the Millikin University Center for Entrepreneurship and the Art Department. The exhibition highlights the exceptional artwork of high school students from throughout central Illinois. High school art teachers submit their best student works for the art show. The submissions are juried by the Millikin University Art Department and the selections are guest-judged for the opportunity for students to win cash prizes and scholarships to Millikin University.
