In this section we present evidence that the Unit has the leadership, authority, budget, personnel, facilities, and resources for the preparation of teacher candidates. We maintain that our teacher candidates are meeting professional, state and institutional standards through full participation of a professional community. This professional community coordinates all programs, supports high-quality work within college classrooms and in the partner school settings. The professional community implements a system of continual quality assurance by gathering and using performance data.
