It is not uncommon for students to experience distress from time to time. The college years are one of the most challenging transition periods in life. Adjusting to campus life, increased academic demands, relationship problems, and other personal issues can feel overwhelming at times.
Confidential personal counseling services are available throughout the academic year to assist students in overcoming their difficulties. Staff members utilize an approach that emphasizes personal responsibility, prevention, intervention, and a concern for the whole student. It is their goal to assist students in improving their abilities to make informed decisions that positively affect their mental, physical, and spiritual health.
