Conditional Admission to Millikin
The Millikin University English Language Center(ELC) is a 4-level transition program that prepares international students for undergraduate degree programs at Millikin University. All ELC students have been conditionally admitted to Millikin.
Placement & Levels
Students take the ELC Placement Test when they arrive to determine their level:
Level 1: Foundations
Level 2: Intermediate 1
Level 3: Intermediate 2
Level 4: Millikin Bridge *Students at this level begin earning Millikin degree credits and take ELC classes
Each level is a 16-week semester (fall or spring) with 20 hours of weekly instruction. Students enroll full-time in a Millikin bachelor's degree program once they have successfully completed Level4.
