Millikin University, an all-Steinway school, is hosting a piano camp for high school students.

Summer Piano Camp
July 7-13, 2013

Join us for 6 intense days of sessions on piano literature, technique, duets, improvisation, private lessons and practice. This year's camp will have a special focus on jazz, and all sessions and lessons will be taught by Millikin faculty members. Evening entertainments include game nights at the Richard Treats University Center, bowling, and a trip to downtown Decatur’s historic Avon Theater!

Boarders will stay in air-conditioned double rooms; boarders and commuters will enjoy meals at Wornick Dining Center. The camp will conclude with a recital in Kaeuper Hall that will be open to the public. All applicants are asked to prepare two pieces of contrasting styles for the auditions on the first day.

Cost: (includes daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, entertainment fees, and t-shirt)
$520 - Boarders (boarders will stay in Dolson Hall -- double rooms with air-conditioning)
$370 - Commuters
